u gotta think of it like this, u brake with the clutch u wear the clutch, u brake with ur brakes u wear the brake pads.. what's cheaper?? brake pads or clutch??

I thought that if you rev matched it would just be more gas consuming without wear on the brakes...guess I won't be doing that anymore.

Sounds more like a problem with a leaky clutch line or bad slave cylinder. This doesn't sound like a bad clutch.

Yeah keep on rev-matching as long as you are doing it right and not just slaming it into a lower gear. Rev-match will put a bit more wear on your clutch but nothing to worry about.

yea...ive got 42K miles on my car and i rev match quite a bit...never had any problems....
