I have all my addon electronic stuff wired directly to the fuse panel. I don't piggy back on any of the existing circuits. There are available switched and non-switched locations you can use.

I didn't really check the other ones. I figured it would be easier for me.

I do the same. Why would you cut/splice/tap into an existing circuit when Honda has provided locations in the fuse box for this purpose?

I grounded my stuff there and also used the free spare connections on the fuse box. Make sure and install the fuse closest to the power source and not the powered device. (closest to the fuse box) You don't want the wire rubbing on something grounded and cause a fire because you installed the fuse on the wrong end of the circuit.

Debating about buying a the same outlet we have, parts 1-4, and putting it under the dash by the passenger. I'd fuse it, but I'm not sure what fuse yet to buy. I'd run the power cord behind the radio out to the fuse panel on the drivers side.

Thoughts?

I originally was going to go with 1-2 extra sources plus USB but I think it would be clean enough with a nice place for the GPS.

Typically 10 amps should be fine......No more than 15 for sure. If you are only using for a phone, gps, etc... go with 10. If your going to plug in a dc/ac inverter go with 15 (per circuit).

For usb charging requirements I use these.... http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=139-006
