I just moved from here and found out that I can't rely on my valentine one like I can back in kansas. I THINK i also figured out how chp catch speedy drivers. But wait, EVERYONE in california speeds damn it! They creep up on the cars that zoom by and turn on their lights. Thats how they got me and thats how I saw them get a 2002 prelude
i'm sure most of u already knew that though...just my 2 cents
i was goin 78 in a 65...thats about the speed of traffic right?

speed of traffic depends on freeway, 101 its about 75 because theres too many chp, 880 is about 80, 680 is like 90ish... one time i got on 680 and everyone was going 100 
........ all of those freeways are posted at 65mph limit...

now when i drive in my bright yellow s2000, i keep thinking that i'm a prime target for chp, then i feel like a jackass for going barely over speed limit cuz people are passin me up like crazy! a friend that lived here for a while also told me chp tend to NOT pull over "fancier, luxurious" cars because they're afraid of WHO they could possibly be pulling over. (ie. some high profile executive) anyone hear the same?

its actually fairly true, especially on the penninsula... because there's hella executives and those guys will have their full time lawyer on the phone before the officer gets to the window... i've seen my friend do this (can't wait to be big ballin like that).. .its hilarious, because they dont know what to do... but don't take that as an excuse to go rocketing around everywhere.... they'll pull you over no matter what if you're doing something ridiculous like 140
