Thanks for the answer Voodoo. But, alas, I have another one. The tech inspection for HPDE days. I read somewhere I have to get my car teched at some shop and again at the event and I have to fill out a form with a checklist of some sort. For trackdays with my bike, I get teched at the trackday. So is there something different for these car trackdays? I don't really understand the process.

You can either get it inspected at one of the approved locations (http://www.nasaproracing.com/events/...chstations.htm) or you can wait to do it at the track. I would suggest doing it before hand, that way you won't be surprised with a violation at the track. Also, I believe they charge to do inspections at the track.
