1000 bucks for a like new short block with 3k miles, thinking to get that and doing the swap myself

 

how much is it to swap at a shop. because i dont have a cherry picker nor do I have tools. or proper tools...

 

1400 to pull engine, swap head, and reinstall engine with new head gasket

 

I can probably use my dads tools and buy a cherry picker for about 200
