i have had several front plate tickets but it still won't make me put it on. I agree that it can be a hassle. But it's only a fix ticket and i stay away from meter's that are located in busy streets/blvd's.

I'm around downtown PA a lot. I'll have to be careful. I didn't know they were giving them to parked cars now. I have the plates in the trunk of all my cars with a broken bracket, so that if I get pulled over, I can say "It just broke, I'm on my way to fix it" or something like that. This changes things.

LOL, i just got one two days ago in San Francisco. I've also noticed they are pulling ppl over everyday left and right. I put my plate back on and it's looks like poo. I think i'll just take it off again. Isn't there a time limit for how many times u could be pulled over for the same offense?

Never been pulled over in the S for not having a plate but it did happen on my previous ride (about 4 years ago) and my wife's car earlier this year. Both times I had them check it out at the cop shop (the second time the woman didn't even come out to look, she just took my word for it). Both times, I took a philips with me and immediately removed it right there in the street in front of the station and drove away
I wonder how they'll respond I asked them "so how many of these can I get before I get locked up?" Cops don't like to kid around I've found. They're serious business when it comes to crime like no front plates.

ditto, nothing like taking time out of my day to pay this, it was pretty funny the officer that signed off, seemed a bit irritated seeing how this was the fourth one she signed off on today.
