I received a Pioneer head unit a couple of days ago and the Modifry Wired DCI (plus harness) just came in today. Do any of you electronic whiz kids out there want to help me install it? I've read a how-to in the electronics forum and perused the instructions with the DCI, but I'm nervous about starting to pull stuff apart as I'm not real handy and don't have any experience with this sort of thing. I'd also like to install the SCV but it seems to require something extra to tap the speed signal.

Anyway, if you're interested, let me know. Of course I'd be willing to pay whatever is fair, so let me know what kind of compensations you'd expect. I'll be gone this weekend, so I'd want to do it either tonight or some evening next week.

Not really a direct answer to your question, but I just installed a DEH-P6000UB in my S2 earlier this week and I have a Modifry DCI on its way for delivery. Should be here by early next week.

If you haven't installed yours by the time I've got my DCI cleanly wired into my setup, I'd be happy to help...just keep us posted. Are you anywhere near the south bay?
