I'm parking at work on Friday and I'm thinking about a dozen things I need to do and......scrape! I scratched two spokes on the right rear wheel against a high curb. I was so annoyed at the damage I had done because of inattention that as soon as I got into my office I ordered a new wheel from a local dealer (thinking that the only way to feel better was to immediately start the ball rolling on a replacement).

Well, I've had a chance to chill-out and look at the damage I did, and it's not quite as bad as I remember it Friday morning. Here's a picture:



Anyway, I'm going to get the new wheel installed this Thursday 7/5 since I'm probably too anal to live with a scratched wheel.

If anyone in the South Bay wants a scratched rear wheel for racing etc., please let me know. I'll sell it for $160. Is that fair? I'd prefer someone locally who can pick it up so I don't have to hassle with shipping.

It's entirely fixable. Look in the yellow pages or the classifieds in Autoweek.
