Default insurance question

Hey guys

I was wondering what insurance companies you guys are using. Im in the market for a brand new s2k and wanted to know some of the good insurance companies out there and what they have to offer. I am 19 with a clean driving record so maybe someone that is around that age can fill me in. TIA!

If you buy full coverage, just expect to pay $$$ for car insurance.

a buddy of mine that recently turned 19 bought a brand new 06 350z. I believe its under his dads name and he pays roughly 1400 every 6 month with a clean driving record. He told me before he got the car that he faxed a fake unofficial transcript to the insurance company so that he can get lower payments for insurance. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Im not sure if insurance companies have the right to look at your official transcript. GL!

i work at progressive, and yes we have access to ur entire dmv record, every ticket, accident everything, i pay about 400 a month but i have 2 tix on my record, yeah i know, 2400 every six months, but also im with progressive and have full coverages...and 23... but i think a ticket goes away this march, should be better i think...

also as far as entering into a legal binding contract with fake info, such as faxing fake info in, is fraud...probably i think they would just cancel his policy, if he were to get it past the ins co. not a very smart kid if u ask me cuz that stays with u FOR EVER, lol dumbass

Its going to be a lot I say. I am 23 and my insurance is only real cheap because I have it under my mom's name. Another thing that makes it cheaper is because its a 02.

Lets just say even under my mom's name it was going to be like 800 a every six months. But it was that high because they didn't have a car to put me on. So I bought a 96 civic 4 door for a daily driver and added it on and the insurance for the S went down to 330 every six months.

i know its a lot cheaper than everyone one else, but keep in mind its allstate and my parents have like 8 houses insured with them.

So in conclusion Good luck my friend.

Even if you have a clean record, insurance companies will charge an arm and a leg because of your age. Thats the only reason why I bought my S in my mid 20's. But power to you if you can afford the payments of a S and insurance.
