Default Maintance require!!!

I was wondering since Honda doesn't require my first maintance till 7500miles. Do I need to do anything till that time. I notice my dip stick (when car is cold) is only 3 diamonds above the E line. Should I take it for an oil change? If I do, what kinda of oil should I ask them to put? I most likely will buy the oil and take a to a shop to have them change it.

Thanks,

just top it off with non-sythetic 10-30. if the oil is really dirty, you may consider a change at 5-6k or so if you are really concerned. otherwise, just keep the oil level full. the car is known for burning some oil in the first few thousand miles, so check often.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NO synthetic oil!!!!!! if your engine isn't broken in yet, synthetic oil will prevent the rings from sealing!!! put regular castrol gtx 10w40.. with honda oil filter of course. oil changes should be every 3,000 miles. questions? pm me

if you don't want to change the oil, you might consider just changing the filter.. if you do it in the morning, when the car is cold and everything has had plenty of time to drain, it can be done with a minimum of spillage.
