Default More Clutch Issues

Started geting a squeak and binding in the pedal movement just prior to my 30K service. The dealer noted it and it was gone after the service for about a week. My wife had my oil changed yesterday at my local independent Honda service shop (Import Auto Tech in Livermore) and asked the owner (Steve Cocones) to check it out. He owns an '01 S2000 also and told my wife "take it to the dealer, there is a master cylinder problem". Seems he had the problem as well. Steve is somewhat unhappy in general with the quality of his S2000.

I have had the clutch TSB done long ago, it was fine but now that sound is back too. The dealer says he can't hear that one. But searching the site here I find a link to another TSB (number 10011???) that refers to a clutch squeak. Anyone know what might be going on here?

Not sure about the clucth squeek that you are referring to as I have not had this problem, but the reoccurrance of the old TSB 055 problem is pretty much a given if you were provided with the previous cersions of the clucth. (I had the part#XXXX-025 installed when my TSB was done. Now I have the newest xx-055 part and no problem.
Good luck Bob. Hope you find the root of the problem.

Ed:

According to the work order I got the correct part number installed on the clutch fix. Looking around the website I found a couple of threads dealing with clutch master cylinder problems. This may be what I am having. My fear is that the service advisor drove my car the last time it was in and told me "that's the way all S2000 clutches sound" when I told them about the 4000-rpm ringing. Right.
