Default Need advice

Hey guys, I have a TINY tear (not all the way through yet, just the top layer, and the bottom inside layer). It is one inch long and less then 2mm across. Any suggestions? Tried a search, did not come up with much. Use a vinyl glue? a small piece of fabric? it is not a joint area, or a seam area. Seems like a bird landed on the car and picked at the top with one talon.

*Update*

Went to my local dealership (Dublin Honda) and the guy i showed the little tear to seemed receptive. He told me to bring it back Tuesday because only the service manager can authorize a top replacement.
*Cross fingers*

patch it to prevent any tension on it, that way it won't tear any further

there are a few long threads about it. i read through some of them and bookmarked them on my home computer. if you search for site wide you'll find them.

my top hasn't tear yet, but i can see the wear marks from the inside. i just wanna patch it before it tears, but haven't got around it yet. just wondering if there's any shop that sells ready patch material that patches vinyl.

I would just take it to Honda and ask if they can replace it under warranty! That's what I did, I got a new top, but in the process, they scratched my paint so I need to take it back to get repainted....
