without taking coilover off car you could loosen nut, and zap it with an impact gun w/ a deep socket. How loose was it initially?

Hopefully you also properly preloaded the suspension bushings per HELMS.

hmm it was never that lose to begin with, could it be somethings off wtih my camber? because from afar it looks perfectly fine, but underneath the knobs dont look very symmetrical on both sides, in fact they look way different lol. i didnt even touch my camber at all, but when i lowered it, the car got cambered like crazy. I've been trying to search around how to actaully calculate the camber and how the whole thing works. The camber sticky in here is kinda confusing ahaha. thanks for all the help though!

if you haven't done an alignment yet take off the pass side CO and diagnose it.

depends which way it's turned? it's shaped like an oval. if i were you, i'd just get it done properly at a shop. iffy camber can eat your tires and screw around with your handling.

ok! so i fixed the knocking problem with the help of all the advice i got in here. thanks guys! i think it was a combination of awkward/uneven camber and the nut on top of the coilovers being too loose.

theres still one thing i cant fix though...
when i go over bumps i hear this really bad spring noise on my right rear coilover? or it sounds like the coilovers broken?

to test it out i reinstalled them on the other sides and now only my left rear coilover makes that noise lol.

i bought these off someone from the market who said they were brand new and unless he knew a way to install it perfectly without scratching them, they looked very unused. could it be possible that they are broken? thanks again.
