Default Need help finding labor....

Just like the title says....

I need to replace my bearing and hub on my MY00 S rear passenger side. It's been replaced once before but is VERY due. I can get the parts but they need to be machine pressed together before install. I'd prefer someone that specializes in Hondas but a good mechanic is my main concern. I'm in Hercules so someone kinda close would be best for me... being I'm paranoid this thing is gonna lock up... but I can also have it towed.

I'd appreciate any helpful recommendations!

I just ordered my Hub and Bearings from hardtopguy.com and would be my 2nd time replacing it by Joey. I always bring it to Joey(itS2Krazy), but his shop is located in San Bruno. You have to PM for address. Not sure where Hercules is but it does sound far. Good luck tho. BlackTrax does an awesome job also. Take your pick.

Hercules is about 10 min North of Berkeley or 3 exits before Vallejo. San Bruno is a bit far but if Joey does a good job, I have no problem bringing it to him. I can always tow it. I appreciate the info.

Do you still have his #? He should be able to install your bearings as well, although I don't know about the machine press. But his shop might have what's necessary. If it's any testament, he's the only person I truly trust under my hood.

I do still have his number. As soon as I gather the funds (translation: get a job!) I'll give him a call to do it all.

And yes it DOES matter that you trust him exclusively.

I'M BACK!!

I did finally find a job in Feb but just temp work. I managed to get the bearing/hub work done and she's on the road again!

now.... I'm curious if anyone buys tires from any smaller shops for better pricing than Tire Rack. I need to replace my rears and slap the stocks back on.
