I currently have a 4" pipe but it wont work too well with CHP. I wanted a 3" with a stock-ish looking muffler instead.

There isn't that much welding involved and anyone charging $1500 for SS single muffler is stealing a lot of people's money
I figured if you were going to get mandrel bent it would be the pre-formed mandrel bent U-tubes that are cut and welded (like making a header... it is just for your exhaust). Top Fuel paid $2200 for his Hytech dual stainless exhaust!!! For a normal business making a single exhaust, I would definitely expect to pay $1500!

If you are having trouble with CHP, why are you going single? Why don't you GUT the stock mufflers. A muffler shop can cut out the "loop," weld in a centered tube of 3" size, and weld the muffler back up.
