Yikes! Never leave your V1 in plain sight. Sometimes I go as far as to take it out of my car completely if I know I'll be gone for a while.
i usually take it out - Tuesday night i was flying in late to SFO and was planning to leave from SFO early on Wednesday morning, so with the loooong drive out to tracy i was home for only 4 hours ... got lazy once, and immediately slapped on my fingers. yikes. and my neighborhood used to be safe, nothing happened since i moved there. guess the poor economy is to blame for thieves now coming out to our hood.
