Yes, you! We're organizing a Northern California S2000 Mega Meet!

I'm excited to announce that we booked Wednesday, November 23rd 2016 at Thunderhill Raceway for our annual track day experience as well as a S2K Mega Meet. Perhaps some of you have seen past S2Ki group pics we've taken on the front straight of Thunderhill. This year I've made it my goal to attempt to beat our previous record of about 50 S2000's, to get as many as we physically can fit on that front straight. This gathering is a NO COST, awesome opportunity for us S2k owners to gather, meet & greet, and parade lap around Thunderhill's 3-mile bypass course and park on the front straight for a photo opportunity. I'd also like to gift a framed portrait of our S2000s to Thunderhill so they can mount it on the walls within their clubhouse. Track and group photos by Bill Wang Photography

• Registration for the Mega Meet, 12pm Parade Lap & Photo Shoot (does not include track time) **REGISTRATION CLOSED**
• Registration for the track event is now live. The track day is open for all cars. Those signing up for track, do not need to sign up for the Mega Meet. If we see you driving an S2000, we're going for FORCE you to join us! **REGISTRATION CLOSED**

Track Event Details:
This will be a self tech'd, laid back test and tune day. Car numbers, DOT approved helmets and one tow hook is MANDATORY. Rain or Shine.

Schedule for Wednesday, November 23rd 2016:
7am Gates Open
8am Mandatory Driver Meeting (Safety, Flags, Passing Rules & S2000 Photoshoot Details)
9am Track is HOT!
12-1pm Lunch Break (Honda S2000 Parade Lap and Photoshoot)
1pm Track is HOT!
Track Closes 5pm

4 Run Groups Rotating at 15 Min. Each Throughout the Day:
GROUP 1 - Advanced/Open Group, SCCA or NASA racers
GROUP 2 - Intermediate 11-20 track days
GROUP 3 - Low Intermediate 4-10 track days
GROUP 4 - Beginner 0-3 track days. Instructors available upon request

Sounds like a really fun event, although being as close to Thanksgiving at that date, I'm not sure how large of a turnout that could be for those not tracking. I'll see what I can clear on my calendar for that date. In the meantime, I was still planning out the potential spots for our Megameet this year, and if there's enough interest, we could do it at Thunderhill this year.

Definitely in for the track day and will help spread the word. :tip wink:

I highly recommend those not necessarily interested in doing the track day to still come out and experience it, bring a helmet, get some ride alongs, get your internal organs rearranged by some very fast cars.
