If we ever did something like this here in California, road rage would get the best of us. This made me lol especially near the end of the video.

these guys are idiots. they're gonna get people hurt cuz of this. i don't care much that it's the law and that they're trying to prove a point...they're all idiots in my eyes. i can only imagine if there was an ambulance or firetruck that needed to get by waaaay back in the pack where they couldn't see these guys holding up traffic.

wouldn't have been difficult to go through or around them. I'd have put up with that for about a mile.

In most states, there is also a law that if you are holding up traffic (usually more than 5 cars) you are to move right and open the lane.

Don't know where this was filmed, but they were probably violating that law by driving this way. They were so smug about following the speed limit and obeying the law, but they were violating another law (most likely).

A few years ago in New Jersey, the state troopers tried enforcing the speed limit by doing the exact same thing. In the center lane they even had a van with a digital 55 readout.

Traffic got so bad that they abandoned the plan after 3 days. But of course they contintued to ticket people for going over the unnaturally low speed limit.

I gotta admit, I think we did something like this when I was part of the prelude club.
