concept is cool, but imo would be a lil too much going on back there w/your wing, 3rd brakelight, & diffuser. you'd have to hack up your diffuser for a clean install too.

that said, you could look into the FR-S/BRZ rear fogs as options too

this one is definitely the best of the bunch - the ferrari one is intermittent flash, which isn't accurate: the real F1 lights flash at a 50/50 on/off interval now... i am also fairly sure that the flashing gets faster / slows down as the car goes faster / slows down. if you could find that, i'd be all over it. and i'd definitely want it rigged up on a separate circuit from just brake lights - would dig being able to have it on in the rain / when going into the pits.

Do you drive your car quickly in the rain for fog? Go for it! No? Then you don't need it.

Definitely don't do that triangular style though, does't fit the car at all. 370Z F1 style is the only one worth considering I think.

Thank-you everyone here for your awesome, honest, very useful opinions. I'm 75% leaning towards adding a 4th brake light(for safety concern(primary) and style(secondary)).

More opinion is welcome. Anything about legality and chances of getting pulled over?

Where I live is mainly always very foggy. I tend to drive pretty fast in the fog since I know my way around and know the distances between stoplights whereas many visitors get lost so I kind of lead for them. I've always wanted JDM or EDM rear fog lights even for my 1999 Honda Accord Sedan, since it will come very useful in dense fog and sometimes I find it as an advantage in term of using it as a safety and caution device to let other know I'm driving around them.

I still like 'triangular' vs. 'squared'

FR-S/BRZ rear fogs "4th Brake Light Kit" Purchase here: FR-S/BRZ 4th Brake Light Kit $79.95

Rice? Over used term, doesn't apply here. Many don't drive in foggy conditions and can't see the necessity. For what ever reason it's not rice on an F1, Le Mans, Euro series car, or BR-Z above. It gets pretty damn foggy here and I've looked into the AP1 Euro fog. If it works for you then do it.

Just t-tap into your trunk brake light. Not hard at all. Do it!

Edit: I vote for the brz triangle light.

i think he wants them to stay lit & constant blink too. that's more involved. i'm not an electrical whiz, so i'll let others comment on the particulars. gonna need to wire a switch, some sort of control module or relay system tho. reminds me of how we used to run ambers back in the day.

Sound like a revision of the side blinker mod might work on this.
