and with that lil cheat hold too boo!
should have been busier..that and he should have gone for the KO in the 6th round and on. there was no way he was going to win unless he knocked manny down or knocked him out.

sorry to break it to you, but manny has already surpassed the golden boy in terms of greatness and legacy.
I disagree. De La Hoya has fought a lot bigger name opponents than Manny. Not taking anything away from Manny beacuse he is a great fighter, but De La Hoya was one of the best pound for pound boxers of his time.

I will also be a loyal De La Hoya fan forever. Golden Boyyyyyy!

he's fought them, but he's lost. de la hoya has always been a manufactured fighter. highly publicize since the beginning of his career, fought bunch of no-names early on to have a glorified record, then beat some veterans in or even past their twillight (whitaker and chavez) to pretty the resume and grab belts. but after that, nothing. everytime he has fought a legit pound for pound contender. sure, i can even give you the fact that he should've had the trinidad decision and maybe even one out of the two against mosley, but other than that, nothing.

R u kidding me, i saw the whole fight, and yeah dlh fought like he did in the past, (a true thinker on his feet) the problem was, he was thinking about the fifty mil he would be pocketing just from stepping in the ring.... Let alone the expected 200 mill his production company (golden boy productions) would bring in.... All i saw in his eyes was $.$ and for this i hve lost all respect for the great .... Many should have knocked his ass out FTW!!!!!!!
