I agree, excellent inspection. That car is in horrible shape for only being 3 years old.

I like how none of that paint/body work has been reported to Carfax

Carfax only shows if the person reports it to insurance and insurance reports it to dmv. Otherwise, if the person pays for the repairs in cash, shops dont have to report that so dmv would never know the car was in an accident. Carfax is only half good but doesnt always tell the whole story.

Damn, nice inspection Kristine!

Only two things that raise a red flag to me that a Paint Thickness gauge can solve: The bumper (obviously replaced) seems to match the color of the hood, but NOT the OE fender. This make me wonder if they blended up on to the hood. that would be stupid to blend the hood and NOT fenders if they went as far as to blend panels... but I've seen worse.

Also with those little plastic pieces on the rear of the car where the paint is peeling... I can't measure those because it's polycarbonate, but on my brand new 08 S2000 it had paint peeling there too... for whatever reason. Not saying that these weren't repainted (especially if the color is off) but I've seen that happen on new S2000's as well.

The loud ticking could have been valve tick? Needs a valve job or something?

Either way, I agree... PASS

Just got back from streets of willow this weekend. Oh man so many s2kkkkkk! it was amazing how those cars handled and over took so many cars! Overall it was a great event.

I'm going to continue my search and keep looking for a clean s2000. Its tough though!
