I received a ticket on 680 in Alameda County, I was cited for doing 80 in a 65. The ticket was written up as EXCEDING MAX SPEED 65 MPH. I believe it is VC22349. I plead not guilty via Trial by Written Declaration (ticket assassin) but was found guilty and court ordered to attend traffic school even though I had just done traffic school 8 months prior.

I was confused as to what this meant so I called the County Clerk and she explained that it is a good thing. No points will show on my record however, the insurance company could see the ticket but may view it favorably since I attended traffic school. I guess all in all it was the best that I could do given the situation.
