I'll be selling a toda header in a few weeks if you can wait...

The header alone will give you minimal gain...about +5 through the powerband...you will see much better results with some tuning.

You do acheive some weight saving and improved throttle response as well.

Mugen Header

Just about all the aftermarket headers gain no more than 1-3 overall hp. Even though these headers have little to no overall gains, there is power to be had at mid range. The Mugen has been reported to have shown gains of 8-12 hp at mid range. All though the Mugen will make no more than 1 overall hp if any, 8-12 hp at mid range is nothing to sneeze at.

I have the Mugen and i it. The car gains a bunch of midrange pull, and the Mugen dont crack, and best of all comes with a nifty heat shield to keep temps down and keep the header hidden from the local authories.

Yeah the Toda's have been know to crack, but I dont know how common that is or what circumstances led to that. Toda's are the only brand that I have ever heard of that happening to. Same with the Toda cams. It seems like the Toda parts are more race orientied and more concerned with making a little extra power at the expense of durability. Just my 2 cents.

I have the Amuse, I get a better throttle response. I've also heard from people that have the Dual R1 Exhaust, that mine is a little higher pitched probably due to the header.

But I mostly got it to have a matching header+exhaust. Plus it looks pretty.
