Post R.A.D. Experience: Drift n Grip at HTM WSIR

Just like the title says.
My uncle sets up these events at WSIR.
Every month he sets up either drift, grip, gymkhana events.
By the way the group is called Radical Auto Driving Experience.
He has been setting up these kinds of events for almost a year now.
We might also be able to set up s2000 only track day at WSIR on HTM someday if you guys want to.
HTM track I believe should be alot of fun. its like touge all day, up hill and downhill.

So trying to get the word out there if anyone is interested.
I'll post up more info as soon as my uncle fills me in with more info also about the event.

I just want to see if anyone from this forum would be interested.
I believe we could camp out there the night before the event or you could stay at the closest motels in the area.

let me know if you guys are interested and we could set something up.
Pretty much we can get as much runs as we want from 8am to 5pm.
Ofcourse there is going to be a lunch break.

We usually do bbq's too.

It is quite a drive from the bay area but it could be really worth it.
So just let me know if you guys are interested so we could make something happen.

Here is what the track looks like.>> http://www.willowspringsraceway.com/tracki...ion/ThiefLg.htm

hmmm...it's only one mile...
does it get pretty crowded? traffic wise? it seems like there's not much passing zone's for beginners...

i've never been on the actual HTM track before. You can check out youtube videos. I heard its a really fun track, especially for drifting. American touge runs on HTM i believe.

Here is what I got so far from my uncle.

The November 23 event is a prep event for horse thief mile. Tell them they can still run, I still have a few spots. As for December... I can allow them only if they have roll bars. At HTM rollbars are required.

I have an annual all miata event that we have at HTM... Its called " ROADSTERDRIFT: DROP TOP SHOW DOWN" and it was very successful.

I can set up an all s2k event too if you guys want.

conditions:

1. Rollbars are required.
2. Full payment of $129 (paypal fees included) a month before the set date.
3. I can set up 2 run groups... drift and grip 15 drivers each.... htm is able to handle that many.
4. No assholes aloowed (lol) we reserve the right to have you pulled out of the tracks if you dont follow our uber basic rules.
5. Most importantly....Have fun!

We did this with our miata forums....vvvvvvvvv
