I highly doubt a Sports Illustrated photographer used a disposable camera for much more than point and shoot situations.
there is no way anyone will get a decent sports photo with a point and shoot... at least an action shot.

imho, the biggest pet peeve of mine is people who buy expensive dslrs but still shoot in auto or just buy them because they expect to be magically transformed into a great photographer.

Canon makes an adapter for the 300 2.8 that mounts to a disposable camera. It's pretty trick, uh huh yup oh ya...
