Anyone go today? I thought it was pretty boring. Overcrowded and the events were short and boring. I enjoyed the BMW Precision Driving events much more, even the free ones. $40 wasn't well spent IMO.

yeah... I was there... I felt the same way.. combined with the fact that I was a little sick.. I ditched out after my first run...

a couple comments:

1) man.. I haven't driven automatic in a long time.. I forgot how much is dislike it. Even my wife's Accord is manual and I could prolly get better times with that stock. Seems like an eternity between when you get on the gas and the car actually decides to go.
2) Do they even sell Falken Azenis in OEM sizes for our car?
3) I guess I should have gone to look at the 23" bling rims... were they cool...
4) Yeah.. the BMW ones are better... not only are they free, but they seem more focused on both showing off the car, teaching you about how things handle, and showing off the tires....

I'm still looking to get some Pilot Sports for my car after the BMW even... those 330i's stuck like crazy and the braking was awesome... I tried to get my friend to go to the Volvo one on the 28th, but he bailed out, which is too bad.. cuz that was a Michelin sponsored event too.

I've never done any timed driving of any sort(other than high-tailing it back from some long drive) but my times on the little hatchback got down to 14.8 and my 1 run in competition was 32.6 I think.

I didn't get to go due to a family emergency, but I heard they had the Turbo Miata on hand to drive as well. Which my friend says was a blast to drive. No S2K, but still plenty of fun.
