sigh...

did NOT have a good day. got nailed by two rocks (one from a big rig, one from an SUV without mud flaps [grrrr]). decent sized chip in the hood and another on the front quarter panel. also managed to nick a stealth concrete block in a parking lot (don't ask me), which scraped up my chin spoiler.

so... i need to find a shop in SF (or close to SF) to touch up the car. will probably shave the emblems at same time.

do any of you have suggestions?

ps. and please folks, it would be great if the shop DB could become useful so stick your data in their. thanks.

How about three stooks? I got a ding in passenger door from someone's door maybe we can get a discount for three stooks? I'd be wiiling to drive anywhere in the bay for a respectable mechanic.

OK.
so we've got 4 touchup jobs, 1 emblem shave and one OEM install and paint?
i'd HOPE we could get a deal.

anyone got a lead on a shop?

i walked by Giglers (in the Mission in SF) today. 2 nice AMG benzes in there and an older 911. if we can't get a lead i'll check them out.

Cars Dawydiak on Franklin and Bush in San Francisco. My car had body work done there (shaved emblems and a major "ding"). They repaired everything to factory specs. Everything was perfect from the shaved emblems to the paint. They cater to Ferraris, Porches, Quavales, Jags, and every gawddamn exotic I know of. They also sell some pretty amazing cars (Porche Turbos, Panoz, classical cars). Price was decent (hell, the insurance paid). If you guys go through with it, ask for Bill; tell him Cliff with the Silver S2000 referred you guys to him. Latez!
