Didn't feel a thing in rock solid San Carlos. Now Foster City...there's some shaky ground out there.

Ya know it's weird. I live in South San Francisco. And I was leaving the house around 6:50 p.m. or so to go grab some fast food yesterday when all of a sudden I felt a very short and swift rumble. My windows slightly shook and my cat got on his tippy toes and kinda just stared at the floor. I had all my windows open in my Apt so I thought it was just a big gust of that shook the place. I paid it no never mind and left home.
Later that night I watched the Channel 2 news and they said a small EQ hit at around 6:45 p.m.. Then I thought,

it'd sure suck to be in the gym during a big earthquake. like on the bench press or doing squats, esp if it happened on your last rep, when you're already spent.

I bet a lot of people in gyms get totally jacked when there's even just a moderate earthquake that only shakes things up.
