Hello fellow Bay Area S2K'ers...

So, I've got an 00 S2K with a EXTREMELY worn clutch. The clutch needs work. I've been told that I can get away with just springing for a Pressure Plate, and I'll be okay for a little while. Firstly, does anyone have any recommendations for me (good aftermarket brands? stock? whole kit vs just the pressure plate, etc)?

Secondly, anyone got any good recommendations for a good South Bay shop that does affordable good tranny work?

Any input would be warmly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure what shop is good in the south. If you're going to do a clutch job, get the complete set, so you won't have to worry about it in the near feature. It will save you some $$ on labor, It's just what I'll do. Have fun with your new clutch.
