Default Suspension problem

So i also posted this in the maintenance section, but wanted feedback specifically from the bay area folks.

So about an hour ago on the freeway (damn Oaklamd) I ran over a big friggen rock (about the size of one of those big sourdough bowls and similar shape) on my driver side. And now my steering is off. Any ideas what could be bent? And would an alignment fix the issue? I got an alignment 2 weeks ago and it drove perfectly straight, and now the wheel is turned about 15 degrees to the right. It did bend the front rim a tiny bit (looks a little bit off and I can feel it when i run my finger on the rim) and the rear rim seems fine to the eye. I am less worried about the tire and rim, and more worried about any suspension parts that may have been damaged. I've seen worse bends in rims that still hold air, and honestly this bend is very slight.

I plan on going to orlando at Auto Innovations (hope he can fit me in tomorrow), and I know he specializes in s2k's since he also drives one, but not sure if he can help me determine if there is anything wrong with the car. Is this something that someone else can check for me? Joey for instance?

The first 2 pics are the front tire and you can see the dust/dirt on the tires from the rock, the 3rd pic is the rear tire.

mm well joey is known for engine maintenance so i say go to auto innovations and get it checked there. it might not even be your suspension and just needs an alignment

Hmm, Chances are...if the rock hit the outside of the rim and bent it, it may have just screwed up the alignment like tkeyyy was saying. If anything, have a look in the morning, you should be able to see if that rock did any really serious damage to the subframe, suspension pieces etc.

good luck!

Under some circumstances Caltrans will reimburse you for damages incurred because of the roadway. Not sure if a loose rock will count for that since it's not a pothole, but you might look into it on their website.
