Well I figured mine out. Owe around $600 state and $600 federal. So I don't have to worry about the IOU The good news is I should be getting back $2,300 since my company withheld too much social security and medicare in 2008.

Just remember, it's better to owe! Then you can earn interest on your money and you won't feel the need to e-file. When you owe, you get everything figured out, and then mail in a check on the last day.

* Assuming you aren't living paycheck to paycheck and don't forget stuff...
