thinking about getting s2k...
Hi guys. I seriously thinking about getting an s2k. I'm a value shopper and won't pay anything over msrp. Anyone here know of any dealers that have s2k currently in stock? If I can't find one with reasonable price, I'm thinking getting WRX instead. Any leads will be appreciated. Thanks.

There should be tons of dealers nowadays that are selling @ MSRP or below. The trick is to get OUT of the bay area to make your purchase, because as you know ... this region is known for ridiculous pricing. The extra effort/distance will be worthwhile. This car is a blast. If you don't get the price you want, walk out ... because there IS a dealer out there that will give you YOUR price (reasonable of course).

If you want a black on black, Honda of Oakland just got one today! I was supposed to buy it but i didn't feel like waiting a extra week. Give them a call, ask for patrick, he was willing to do MSRP with me

thanks everyone. went to los gatos honda this evening. they have a 01 yellow at 7k miles. they are asking $36k

If you do a search in the bay area club, you will find some leads. I bought mine from Stockton and got a fairly good price. With all 3 aero kit, alarm, wheel locks, car cover for $1100 over MSRP. Paid $37K out of door. In bay area, the best deal I could find was from El Cerrito for $1000 over, Hopkins for $1500 over. Many of the dealers have on-line inventory check, you can find their current inventory (updated daily, I think) before you call them. Good luck. Don't get a WRX, S2K looks 1000x better than that.
