Default Time estimate for J's CAI install?

Anyone know approximately how long and involved the swap is? My hood is already cut, so that should help. Wanted to see if I can get it in before the Sac drive. Should get it sometime on Fri.

Thanks!

Sweet. I'm putting in the high flow cat tomorrow and my tonneau cover should be painted in time for the weekend. It better not rain!

Not that long. It took me 30 mins to swap out the Mugen to the Js and get the panel going.
Let me know if you need help. Good thing is I already cut your hood perfect. So no rubbing issues.

Thanks for the offer. Ya, I figured since I had a precut hood, I might as well put it to some good use Just got the cat installed today, but my ride's at the dealer diagnosing high RPM hesitation that has worsened since my SoCal drive. Definitely looks electronically induced at this point (unless it's the fuel pump). Recently had the valve clearances adjusted, but that's about it. Forgot about the MAP sensor tap, or I would have tried that before dropping it off. Got my tonneau cover today though and it should be painted in time for the weekend drive (assuming I have a car to go with it!) Did a test fit. Looks sweet.

Unfortunately, the tonneau cover is not dry. Had to put two coats of primer on first. So, it won't be accompanying me to Sac2kDays. But, I did get the intake installed. Took a couple of hours as a result of some additional unexpected cutting to get the snorkel to rest correctly. Also, it was a bitch to get the nipple off of the previous intake hose. I finally just ended up cutting it out. Hope I don't have to go back to stock anytime soon!

It attaches in the front with two screws. Is there a thread you are aware of that discusses the problems at speed? I would find it surprising that after 5 years of making the part they wouldn't have figured out that people are driving on the freeway with it. Thanks for the tip though. I'll definitely investigate and see if I need to retrofit some additional securing mechanism.
