Tire plug/patch
Ok...would like to get a quick cheap tire plug doesn't really need to last long because the tires will be replaced soon but I don't want to run on my stockers...I like my 18s
Caught a stupid nail and need to patch the tire. Good places? Sears? Cheap? Don't want to spend $50 on a tire I'm going to replace in a couple weeks, but want to drive now

Buy it from Kragen and do it yourself!
Those kits at Kragen/AutoZone/etc. will work fine...especially since this is only going to be temporary while you get your new tires...

I went to Sears. Sears uses a mushroom shaped plug patch which is pretty much plug and a patch. The thing is applied from the inside and the plug is pulled through to fill the hole. The patch job/rebalancing was around $15. I'm happy w/that route.

Don't know where you live, but the Big O Tires in Walnut Creek will patch it for free. I have taken my MDX there before to fix a nail and didn't have to pay a dime.
