Tools for rear axle nut retorque?
I just got my first s recently! It's a 06 AP2 LBP
I'm going through this great new owner checklist, and the next thing on the list is rear axle nut retorque. I am wondering if I can borrow the tools (3/4'' drive rachet/breaker bar, 36mm socket) from someone in the bay area, since I'd only use them once. I tried Auto Zone and O'Reilly, but they only loan 1/2' drive.
Thanks!
(I live in Mountain View.)

If you are planning to work on your car (sounds to me like you are), it would be worth it to buy some basic tools. I have always found that once I own a tool it ends up being used way more than the one job I initially bought it for.
Anyway I am not in your area but would be more than happy to loan you tools if I were.

Thanks MAVTS2k!
I have definitely grown my toolbox quite a lot since I started working the car (bought most of tools needed for the other services on the checklist). I just figured there might not be other occasions where I need 3/4' drive and 36mm socket, so I thought I'd give it a shot here But I'll go buy them if no one nearby has it.

I bought a 1/2 inch drive socket on accident and had to go with it. I snapped a breaker bar. Then I used a friends 3/4 bar with a 1/2 to 3/4 reducer. I broke two reducers to get very close to billmans recommended spec. In the end I hit it with my big impact to get it just right.

No help for your California guys but for those who read most of the posts regardless of area anyone in the Richmond VA area is welcome to use my 3/4" breaker bar and 36mm socket.
