Default Top Slashed

Hi guys. My top was slashed over the weekend in my secured underground parking lot.

According to the police 6 other tops were slashed and nothing was stolen. So they think it was just some kids messing around.

Does anyone know of a good soft top replacement place in the South Bay? About how much do you think it's going to cost?

Thanks ahead of time!

Larry Hopkins and Andersen Honda both quoted around $2,700 for parts and labor.

I'll be getting my insurance to cover me, but I'm hoping to find a way so I get get my deductible ($500) covered as well. I know compared to the $2,700 to replace the top it's not that much but, $500 is still $500.

I agree. I was quoted about $1300 for parts, $1300 for labor.

Thanks for the information guys!
The certified shop quoted my insurance company $1,500 to fix the hardtop. Do they usually quote insurance companies higher? If I call that same shop on my own do you think I can negotiate that price down to save on my deductible?

brian210 - When you had your top replaced, did you get the glass rear window?
