trunk spring..

Default trunk spring..

so ive been trying this morning to take my trunk springs out..but it just wont budge..tried pulling, bending, twisting..and it still wont budge. so i figured i must be doing it wrong. any idea how to take it out the right way??

minh,

you need a truck spring remover



but if you dont have one , you can try using a robogrip by pull out of the hook. I suggest you to use the correct way with a truck spring remover.

I used vice grips to get mine out, i put them back with the tool that Brian posted. I have no need for mine anymore, its for sale. Its about 27-30 bucks without shipping from Hardtopguy

f20c1, I still need to do my trunk springs too. How about we each pay half for Tony's spring removal tool and do both our cars at once. Afterwards, you can keep the tool if you want, I don't plan on needing it again. Or Tony, you can just let us borrow it for a day

sounds good. or if your going to the dyno meet this sunday..you can bring it so me and crono can buy it off you.
