Default UK Exhaust Mod on my AP1

I sold my T1R 63mm sparrow a while back and ever since I've been looking for an exhaust that's a bit more tame. For a long time I was considering the Fujitsubo but for some reason I just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger. The other day I randomly came across the UK exhaust mod. Apparently this has been a popular topic on the forums and I've just been living under a rock. A couple videos and a few forum threads later, I was sold. I dropped off the exhaust yesterday at a local shop and had the exhaust back today. I ended up going with 32mm ID piping. Here's some pictures.

Ghetto sprayed with high temp ceramic header paint to prevent rust.

The exhaust is quiet. FROM INSIDE THE CABIN - At idle, you can barely tell its there. In the lower rpms, you can definitely hear it but it's very civil (NO DRONE!). When you mash on it, it really comes to life. Personally I wouldn't mind if it were a bit louder. FROM THE OUTSIDE, the sound is a completely different story. It sounds mean! Also there wasn't any noticeable increase or decrease in power or throttle response.

All in all - I like it!

It's a very popular thing here in the uk. I'm even thinking about buying another stock exhaust and changing mine and having it done. From the looks of your pictures yours has been done exactly how ray and ang do it for us over here.

None of my own. I think it's one of those things where you have to experience in person to really get a feel for. Here's a few videos of some member's rides I found on the forum:

I have 35mm piping on mine. With the cat in, it's barely noticeable. With a test pipe, it sounds amazing. As good as any s2k exhaust I have heard. Ill be at the blacktrax dyno day so if you are interested you can hear it then. Zero drone, even less than stock. None at all.
