Anything that remotely looks like an import will be pulled over and harrassed accordingly. If your car is riced out with ground effects, or something similar, like carbon fiber for example, then you will be harrassed and/or possibly beaten. The cops are just doing their jobs to keep the streets safe from the street racers. Think of the children.
