I have the Harbor Freight one. Its lighter and cheaper. I don't however trust it by itself. I always use a jack stand with it.

Does that one clear the front? The one thing people said was better with the Craftsman is that it requires less force.

Question, are you referring to the front center jack point or the front side jack point behind the front tires?

I was refering to the front center jack point. I'd like to be able to get the front on stands with only one "jacking".

I have 6 jackstands that you can borrow. I have smaller ones and larger ones. Just PM me you can pick them up this week if you like. I have to buy a new jack because my 2 ton may have gotten stolen. I have to check with my neighbor.

I have the harbor freight one. It works fine, Low enough to even fit under MeccaJM's car. and his car is really really low. If it doesn't fit under the front-side jack point, try jacking from the rear seide jack point and lower it slowly back on ground. The suspension won't compress as much and will give you just enough room to lift.

Hmmm. Now it's a tough decision. The craftsman is so shiny!
