Thanks! yeah can't hurt to take a look, it is a cap style nut and rubber washer from the looks of it:



I will probably just get to the hardware store at some point, I asked the people at hardtopguy about some OEM hardware but haven't heard back, I am a bit of an OEM nazi.

Shifting arm. Crashed my mountain bike in Tahoe last weekend. MRI results of my shoulder come in next week. Hoping NOT to need surgery.

No, I was on a really fast trail in south shore. There hadn't been any rain yet so the trails were all very loose. I was flying down the trail, which I'd never been on before, encountered a jump in the middle of the trail that was way too big, tried to turn off to the smaller jump, but my front end washed out in some deep sand and I landed hard on my shoulder. I have video of the crash, but it's lame. It just looks like I fell over.
