Does someone want to bring me some front rotors and rotor/pad changing tools so I can go driving tonight?

I thought so, but really just finished my rotors off finally. I think they were probably on the car long before I bought it. The front pads are still around 25% but the rotors have the grand canyon worn into them. Pretty nice lip going along the outer edges.

I already picked up another set of pads and my plan is to do new rotors next week along with the new front pads. So maybe I will just go out tonight and finish those pads and rotors off properly. (My other option is to go out and get some good runs recorded with high quality audio of our legendary S4/Miata driver for the site).

I do have some "spare" AX6 pads if you were serious and just wanted to borrow them and not use too much of them up. They are my emergency set that I take to the track.
Edit: Posted at the same time. Never mind, then.

Yeah all good on pads, I think most people crack rotors before they ever get to the level that mine are at now, a solid 2-3mm lip around the outer edge on the inner and outer face of the rotor.

I've got spare front rotors too, though one has a little damage from running a pad to the backing plate. Want me to bring them for you to carry so you don't get stranded? Of course, you'd have to carry tools too...

No that's ok, but thanks for the offer! I will be taking it easy if I am driving tonight and will take the opportunity to slap some cameras and sound gear on some other cars tonight.

It's going to be a chilly night tonight. I'll be at the drive not the meet.
