what is this carbon fiber piece attacj to the intake, does it do anything?

would this be better than a aem v2 intake?
also vu i was wondering on ur hood u do not u the pop rod what are those air shocks u are using and how much are they

I don't know if one is better than the other. Since you are still using the stock air box, you won't get any of the sound that the V1 & V2 give you, which I love, but that is a personal thing. I doubt you will gain any hp with it, but it should help prevent heat soak.

according to the obd2 output if you provide constant airflow (no stop-go) removing the lid results in lower intake temperatures.

nope...cause there is no dyno to prove is that sort of intake works with a stock air box.

i wanna see a base dyno too with all stock. i have HKS filter inside a stock box in my 01 and i dynoed at 180whp on a mustang dyno, i heard stock are supposed to be 170-175.
