Default What are good driving tips for LeMans karting?

Went there for the first time last night and posted a 25.011 best lap. I guess that's okay for my first time but I heard the record is in the 20's. What are people's best times and what kind of line do you take through the course?

Going clockwise from the start, how do you take the entire back part? Turns 1-3 I think. After the long straight I found myself braking in turn 1 to induce a fishtail. After the rear end starts to slide out I'm on the throttle again. By overcorrecting the steering I'm essentially in a controlled fishtail with the rear sliding left/right/left through the turns pretty quickly. By the time I get to turn 3 the kart easily snaps around pointed straight, although at WOT the kart has a tendancy to bump the outside tire wall slightly.

Try taking a later apex into turn 1. The ground is not worn down as much so you can slow down without fishtailing... helped me.

How do you then take the rest of turns 2 and 3? I actually used the fishtailing to whip me around 2 and 3. It seemed quick and I was able to go nearly WOT immediately after passing turn 3's apex.

The late apex allows me to atually go through 1-2-3 straighter so I am never fishtailing. I have to stay floored through those turns because SOMEHOW I am loosing a lot of speed by doing a late apex.

Also, the 180
