need to replace my ripped and cut soft top on my 2005

being quoted $1700 by 2 shops, one shop said they will do it for $1600 cash

they said its a 12hr job to put on the top on the frame.

or anybody have a good used top on the frame?

or know of a cheaper place?

its a pain. i paid about +200 more than your quotes and got an upgrade soft cloth top. I love it.

That sounds about right. When I did mine I was quoted between $1600 and $2000, I also had many people turn me away because 'it's not an easy car to work on' and they 'swore they'd never do one again.'

i have a very good condition softtop for $850, but you will have to find a shop to install it for you... i did it in 4 hours... and it sucks.

decided against buying someone else's used top
