Default Where to buy hardtop & parts/accessories?

Hi,

Anyone have any recommendations for where to buy parts and accessories in the Bay Area? Any dealers whose parts prices are cheaper?

I'm looking to get a hardtop, and it seems like the best way to get it is locally, because after shipping from one of the discounters, the cost is not much cheaper than getting it locally, plus you have to figure out how to get it to your installer, as I heard the box it comes in is huge, and won't fit in a minivan/SUV.

Where have people generally bought hardtops from in the Bay Area, and how much did it cost? Any recommended installers, and any places to definitely avoid?

Thanks!

If you're referring to the OEM Side Strakes, I'd just get them from http://www.hardtopguy.com

He's got the lowest no haggling needed prices I've seen on most things.

The only reason I'm not going through him for the hardtop, because the shipping is expensive, and the box is huge enough that it won't even fit in my SUV. Getting it to the shop would be a pain. Plus, after the cost of shipping the hardtop, it's not much more expensive to buy it locally, at least not so much more that it's worth the hassle of having it shipped and figuring out how to get it to my mechanic's shop.

Side Strakes seem small enough that shipping and transportation shouldn't be a problem.

why have it shipped to your place and install it there first? and if your having trouble adjusting it you should take it to a dealer

I'd still have to find a way to get it from the place I receive mail to the place where I could work on it. Major pain since the box doesn't fit in any vehicle I own or could borrow.

I have to give a to:

http://www.handa-accessories.com/

Since they are in the Sac area, shipping is cheap and fast. I ordered my front lip spoiler from them and got it the next day.
