I need to get new tires... I went in for alignment this morning, and the place told me i needed new tires... but i really don't think i do, and they said they won't do the alignment unless i get new tires.... SOOOOO.. is there any place you guys go to that you trust or would recommend?

The alignment isnt dependent on your tire condition, they can align a car with bald tires the same as they align a car with brand new tires. If you don't think you need new tires go get a alignment from someplace else. Otherwise Tirerack has the best prices on OEM S-02, or Americas tires has decent prices on anything else.

For those who have dealt with TireRack, did you go with a local shop for mounting the tires? And if so, what kind of costs can I expect. Thanks.

My friend has an account with TireRack and will sell it to you for a little less than if you ordered from TireRack directly. PM me for details.
