yeah go to court and hopefully you will have a sympathetic cop and judge...maybe they will lower the ticket to something like 80 on a 65 (one can hope)....good luck

what my cop friend told me to do back east was to ask for a continuance, or come up with a reason why you cant show up for your appointed court date which the cop would usually be there... so that they can reschedule you for another appt at another day usually when they reschedule its months away down the line...keep doing this for as long as u can like 2 or so times and the cop usually doesnt show up or cant cause he by then has other court dates or things to do or he might just forget.

Didnt say reckless, but it did say misdemeanor
Had the car impounded, had to got to court and get a lawyer or I would've ended up in county for a month.
Total cost = $2200

oh yeah I forgot, for excessive speeding I believe cop doesn't even have to show up(might be wrong)

It was worth it for me, waaaaaaayyy worth it
Lawyer alone was $15 hun.
