i thought carb exempt and carb legal meant the same thing. anyway, from what i saw, if you're looking for something CARB legal go and get the 57 series instead of the 63. you get the sticker with the CARB number. i read a thread in UTH saying thats the only difference between the 63 and the 57... but in any case, you'll fall in love with the growl of the car and have much more low end torque... or at least thats how i feel
CARB exempt means that it does not have to meet CARB requirements for for emissions in Cali.

CARB legal means that it meets CARB's requirement for emmisions in Cali.

Two similar but different things

they can get pricey altho the judge in SJ is lowering most traffic fines nearly 50%!! Woohooo, more money for me
