^^ I agree. I don't understand. As a non-paying member or Guest, you can post a WTB thread on the main forum requesting for parts or a S2000, why can't he do it in the local forums? I don't understand why he can't request to buy S2000 parts and that there's an exception for WTB threads for just S2000s.

OP since you can't post here locally a WTB thread, I suggest you do it on the main forum.

Each region is allowed to adopt w/e rules it wants regarding FS/FT/WTB and this is the policy that the Bay Area has adopted. My suggestion is if you are a guest and would like to post a WTB thread, you can/should do so in the main WTB thread as stated above, OR a membership is only 5.5 cents/day if you think about it

WTB S2000 > WTB S2000 Parts on this forum.

Sorry guys, I'm only following the rules too...

Because those are just the rules created in this region's sub-forum.

"No for sale, want to buy or want to trade threads in the regular forum.
WTB threads for S2000's are allowed by members or guests in the main (regular) forum."

I don't know how else to answer your question except to say rules are rules.

If you click on the link, it was a guest posting in the bay area forum. I'm glad you guys are enforcing the rules but consistency is the key here.

So what your saying is it is ok for an individual to post a wtb or fs thread a long a it is an s2k, of its anything else including parts it has to be posted in a designated wtb fs thread?
